Main duties of the job

Our clinical team play a vital role in looking after more than 8,500 PHU staff, from pre-placement assessments at the start of employment, vaccinations and immunisations, serology, management of sharps and contamination incidents, management referrals, health surveillance, occupational medicals, biological monitoring in addition to delivering the PHU annual flu and covid vaccination campaigns and a variety of health and well-being campaigns throughout the year.

You will be working in a friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team which includes health and safety, manual handling, mental health and health and well-being, all playing a crucial role in providing a compassionate and professional service that is instrumental in the care of our PHU staff and external clients.

The department operate on corporate working hours, no long shifts, weekends, or late nights!
