27 May 2021 System release updates

Redesign of Interview Management

We have broken down the interviews section into 3 stages:

  • interviews scheduled
  • interviews in progress
  • interviews completed

A job listing will automatically move through the stages. Only super users will be able to manually move a listing to the 'interviews in progress' stage earlier.

Each page contains tabs to show applicants who have:

  • accepted
  • not responded
  • declined

Remove job listing

Employers can remove a job listing from their dashboard. This will end the recruitment process early. The listing will show as 'recruitment stopped' but will continue to be searchable.

Employers can only remove a listing from the shortlisting stage onward. An email is automatically sent to active applicants at the shortlisting stage. After the shortlisting stage, employers can choose to send an email to applicants or contact them offline.

Mark draft listings as 'Ready to publish'

Employers can mark their completed draft listings as ready to publish. This is only available for employers who do not use the approval function.

This means recruitment administrators can easily find and publish the listings.

Remove the end date for current employment

Employers no longer have to enter an end date for applicant's current employment.

End dates no longer appear when:

  • applicants are providing current employment dates
  • applicants are providing current employment reference dates
  • referees are providing current employment dates
  • employers are entering a reference for current employees as part of pre-employment checks

They will instead show as ‘current’ in the system.

View completed pre-employment checks

Employers can still view an applicant’s checks after the pre-employment checks stage. Employers can find a read-only version of the applicant’s checks in the applicant page view. Only completed checks will show.

View incomplete pre-employment checks

In the contracts stage, employers will get a notification if an applicant has incomplete checks. Employers can review the pre-employment checks or continue through to the contracts stage.

Continuous improvements

Filter by task at each stage

Employers can filter by a drop-down list of tasks in the following stages:

  • Draft
  • Approvals
  • Shortlisting
  • Interviews
  • Ready to offer
  • Conditional offers
  • Contracts

Search for a draft listing

Employers now can search for a draft listing. This is an improvement to the existing search functionality.
