Pre-employment checks

We've improved the qualifications section of the pre-employment checks.

Employers can choose whether an applicant needs their qualifications checked or not, making the journey quicker if they do not. When an employer does not need to check the applicant's qualifications, the check will show as ‘not required’.

There is a new page at the start of the qualifications check telling the employer what they’ll need to know before they start.

We've also made the content on these pages clearer and improved the layout after user feedback.

There is a new check your answers page. This means the employer can check and change their answers after they've added everything.
