PCN Saturday Receptionist

Job summary

The role is central to the smooth running of our Saturday clinics. You will be the first point of contact for patients attending appointments, managing their arrival on Systm1 and providing a helpful, reassuring service. At the end of the shift, you will also be responsible for coordinating the blood samples collection, ready for the UHL courier to collect.

Main duties of the job

You will be the one main point of contact on reception, arriving patients on the system, managing the reception desk, and responding to any queries patients may have. If there is any sickness you will need to be confident to cancel the clinics on the morning. Once the clinic is complete, you will ensure safe handover of blood samples to the blood collection driver. you will work alongside a small team of HCAs and Nurse.

The Oadby & Wigston Primary Care Network is a network of six GP practices working together to improve healthcare for our community. We are seeking a reliable and professional receptionist to join our Saturday team, ensuring patients are welcomed, booked in and supported throughout their visit.
