Main duties of the job

The Procurement Administrator at Akari Care will join the team at Leeds Support Centre and serve as the primary contact for procurement related queries from care homes. Responsibilities include managing the procurement email inbox to resolve wide-ranging queries, providing first-line telephone support, raising and receipting purchase orders, ensuring timely supplier quotations, new supplier setups, governance of existing suppliers, updating and maintaining procurement systems, and overseeing the company fleet for compliance with MOT/Service requirements. Other duties include maintaining procurement trackers and registers, offering administrative support to the procurement manager, and preparing post and packages for the homes. The role demands excellent customer service, communication, organisation, and time management skills.
