The role involves creating a vibrant and engaging environment for the elderly residents, planning and delivering a variety of activities to enhance their quality of life.
Main duties of the job
As an Activities Coordinator at Akari Care, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating a diverse range of activities that cater to the varied interests and abilities of the residents. This includes indoor and outdoor events, outings, and group activities that promote socialisation, physical and mental stimulation, and overall well-being. You will work closely with the Home Manager and the wider care team to ensure that the activities are tailored to the individual needs and preferences of each resident, fostering a sense of community and inclusion. Additionally, you will be involved in fundraising initiatives and budgeting to support the residents' activities.
