Job summary
Akari Care is seeking a passionate Maintenance Operative to play a vital role in engaging with, supporting, and improving the quality of lives for their residents in one of their award-winning homes. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards are continuously met with regards to maintenance in and around the home, including internal decoration, grounds maintenance and safety, building repairs, supplies, and utilities.
Main duties of the job
As a Maintenance Operative at Akari Care, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance tasks to ensure the home is well-maintained and comfortable for the residents. This will involve internal decoration, grounds maintenance and safety, building repairs, supplies, and utilities. You will work closely with the home manager and the wider maintenance team to systematically ensure the home meets high standards. The role requires a hands-on, practical approach, as well as being mindful and conscientious to individual needs and backgrounds of the residents. You will need to be flexible, adaptable, and able to work well under pressure without negatively impacting those around you.
