Job summary
An excellent opportunity for highly motivated and
enthusiastic individuals to join Rural Warwickshire PCN as a Personal
Assistant. The roles will provide an efficient, high quality, professional,
confidential and comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Clinical Director and their senior teams which will involve
diary management, organising meetings, taking minutes, and organising and
co-ordinating key tasks as well as working with and supporting the wider Admin
team.
Main duties of the job
To ensure high quality
administration and support is provided at all times
Provide a high level of
administrative support, managing workload and taking decisions within defined
administrative policies;
Preparation of agendas and
minutes, taking appropriate follow-up action as required,this may include
occasional preparation and minuting of committees
Support the team with the
management of projects, gathering information and undertaking enquires as and
when is necessary for the Clinical Director
Plan and manage the Clinical Director's
diaries ensuring their time is utilised to full effect and ensuring internal
and external meetings are robustly organised;
Provide confidential and timely
inbox management to the Clinical Director;
Produce high quality reports,
presentations, letters and other correspondence on behalf of the Clinical Director
Ability to provide support to
the PCN Team as and when required and ensuring they
are an effective link to the Clinical Director
Plan, prioritise and manage
complex and conflicting workloads

We are a Primary Care Network (PCN) of six practices working together with a range of local providers, including primary care, community services, social care, and the voluntary sector, to offer more personalized, coordinated health and social care to their local populations.

Enhance the skills and flexibility of the General Practice workforce to meet population and service needs with programmes of continuing professional development.
Work and collaborate with others to innovate in service provision, building on new technologies and recognising lifestyle choices of service users in the way in which they wish to access care.

Job responsibilities
The post holder is a key member
of the Clinical Directors support team and is expected to work flexibly to ensure high
quality administration and support is provided at all times, enabling the Clinical Director and team to work effectively and to provide and support a positive
image of the PCN
The post holder will be
responsible for a high level of administrative duties, managing their workload
and take decisions within defined administrative policies;
Highly motivated and
enthusiastic individual to provide and coordinate administrative and
secretarial services; including for example:
Preparation of agendas and
minutes, taking appropriate follow-up action as required
Supporting the team with the
management of projects, gathering information and undertaking enquires as and
when is necessary for the head of department, teams and the department;
Plan and manage the Directors
diaries ensuring their time is utilised to full effect and ensuring internal
and external meetings are robustly organised;
Provide confidential and timely
inbox management to their designated Director;
Act as the point of contact,
dealing and responding effectively with queries and passing on relevant
information sensitively;
Manage and prioritise all
incoming and outgoing correspondence, initiating responses and drafting where
appropriate;
Undertake Loggist duties at both
internal and external meetings including Strategic and Tactical meetings of the
Derbyshire Resilience Partnership (DRP);
Produce high quality reports,
presentations, letters and other correspondence on behalf of Directors;
Ability to provide support to
the PCN Team as and when required and ensuring they
are an effective link to the Executive Team;
Plan, prioritise and manage
complex and conflicting workloads;

- Full UK driving licence and access to a car The post-holder is required to travel independently between practice sites (where applicable) and to attend meetings hosted by other agencies.

- Have experience of working within the NHS structure
- Experience and understanding of how PCNs operate
- Experience of PA

- GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English, or equivalent qualification
