Job summary

Veincentre has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurseto join our amazing clinic in Bristol.This is a fantastic opportunity to join the UKs largest varicose veins clinic at a time when we are growing and developing our business.

Main duties of the job

You will provide nursing care to patients undergoing assessment and minimally invasive treatments for varicose veins, supporting the Consultant. You will be a key part of a small and friendly team, working in our professional and relaxed Clinic. This is a bankrole working on either a Thursdayor Friday with ad hoc Saturday's.The number of sessions is likely to increase as patient demand increases.

You must be registered with the NMC and it goes without saying that youll be passionate about providing high standards of care and excellent experience to all patients. You dont need any previous venous experience as you will be fully trained.

Nurse Job Description Reports To Clinic Manager Direct Reports None Place of Work Home Clinic with travel to other Clinics in Region Hours Job Purpose Ensure the provision of high quality patient care and safety, supporting the delivery of treatments and maintenance of clinical standards and ensuring the operational efficiency of the Clinic. Key Responsibilities Clinical & Patient Experience Review patient notes prior to the clinic list Ensure all clinical equipment is available and functioning Carry out Pre Op check prior to first patient arriving Carry out Post Op check following last patient departure and before leaving Clinic Support the consultant/practitioner during clinical procedures and emergency situations Play a proactive role in ensuring all patient lists and the Clinic overall runs efficiently Support the patient and act as their advocate where needed Ensure clinical rooms and trollies are fully and appropriately stocked at all times Maintain a high standard of Infection and Prevention Control within the Clinic Clean in between procedures as required to ensure high standards of tidiness and cleanliness Ensure clinical waste is disposed of in line with Clinic procedures Maintain accurate and complete records for the management of Clinic medicines Ensure medicines are safely and correctly stored Clinic Operations Attend Monthly Teams catch up with Clinic Managers Work in other Clinics as required Oversee Observation Visits for candidates for vacancies, ensuring they feel welcome.
