Registered Nurse - Dermatology

Information:

This job is now closed

Job summary

The primary focus for this role is providing support to our Dermatology Clinicians. Work with all members of the clinical team within the multi-disciplinary framework. Maintain a high standard of patient care under the direction of the Dermatology operations team.

This role will require you to work across a number of our DMC sites.

Main duties of the job

To work in accordance with the principles set out by the Nursing/Midwifery professional bodies and Trust Policies. To support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service, all staff are expected to act as a role model to others in all aspects of their work and consistently demonstrate DMC values and demonstrate behaviours that support and encourage an inclusive culture. Excellent communication skills are essential in dermatology nursing as you provide care for patients pre and post skin surgery, during general clinic procedures or during nurse led clinics. Dermatology run a high volume of surgical clinics and the nursing staff scrub in and assist with procedures, so an interest in surgery would be an essential requirement of the role.
