Job summary
Our Receptionist team undertake a wide variety of tasks
including, checking patients in for their appointments, booking appointments,
answering telephone queries and helping patients with any queries on their
arrival at the clinic.
The role would suit someone who is good at multitasking, and
problem-solving with an empathetic nature, who has a passion for helping
patients and providing excellent customer service.
The receptionists will work on a rota basis, and this will
cover evenings and weekends.
Main duties of the job
The ideal candidate will have previous
patient or customer-facing experience and excellent communication skills.
Within this environment, it is necessary to
remain calm and maintain a high level of attention to detail. The successful
applicant will be able to help manage the workload efficiently and effectively
on a daily basis to facilitate the patients' care being as smooth and efficient
as possible.
We will provide the training necessary to
use our in-house IT systems, however, a good working knowledge of Microsoft
Office would be beneficial. You will be required to maintain patient
confidentiality at all times.
Whilst the role is primarily based out of
the Caterham Valley Medical Practice, there may be cover other sites within the
North Tandridge Primary Care Network.
Please note that this role will be conditional upon being able to
provide relevant evidence of specific immunisations Varicella (Chickenpox),
MMR, DTP - or undergoing relevant vaccinations or boosters if this is
recommended by our OH advisors.
