Job summary
This is an exciting role working
within South Tandridge PCN member Practices which are Oxted Health Centre,
Lingfield Surgery and Pond Tail Surgery. You will be supported by
experienced clinical lead GPs and will be part of a wider team of GPs, nurses
and nurse practitioners and a growing team of allied healthcare professionals.
We
believe that general practice is a fun and supportive NHS environment and we

offer support and encourage personal development of all our staff and offer an
in-house structured education program.
You
will receive mentorship from experienced clinical leads and DHC directors to
personalise your growth and learning.
There will also be the unique opportunity to further develop a
specialist clinical interest with consultant supervision through our wider
portfolio of outpatient and community services.
This role is subject to the ARRS New GP role,
therefore all candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Less than two years post
certification on 1st October 2024.
- GPs
engaged or employed under this scheme must not have held substantive posts
within GP practices previously: there is some discretion on this point, such
that, for example, if a GP has undertaken a short-term maternity locum, this
does not count as a previous substantive post.
Main duties of the job
An
exciting and competitively remunerated permanent salaried GP role has arisen

is flexible in terms of sessions and locations and provides a fantastic

The post-holder's duties will include undertaking all normal GP duties and will be offered the opportunity to lead on an area of interest within the practice. This will be part of the wide range of health needs in a primary care setting that will ensure the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
The post-holder will undertake a fixed number of clinical sessions for the Practice in accordance with the needs of the practice population and the contractual obligations of the practice. The Practice has a focus on minimising administrative burden and automate processes, allowing GPs to concentrate on delivering good clinical care.
