Job summary
We are pleased to share this exciting new
recruitment opportunity to join DHC as Primary Care Network (PCN) GP Practice
Systems, Information and Technology Manager. The PCN is currently undergoing a
period of significant growth and change to remodel the structure with an aim of
providing an inclusive and supportive structure for our team employed under the
Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS). This role is full-time.
The GP Practice Information and Technology
Manager will work with the DHC Federation GP Practices to ensure they are
achieving effective and efficient use of IT. Delivering an effective service
supporting Practice Managers, DHC Managers and associated clinicians to
implement and maintain their use of IT hardware and software.
The
post holder will deliver an exceptional service for Practices within Dorking
PCN, Redhill Phoenix PCN and South Tandridge PCN, working within a range of
areas in an IT management role, helping to identify the right IT solutions for
practices, sharing best practice, and assisting with implementation of new
solutions and improvements to existing systems. You will work closely with GP
Practice Managers, SCWCSU IT support, PCN staff and the DHC IT Manager but also
use your own initiative, being proactive, managing, prioritising, planning and
organising your own time, using and developing extensive knowledge, skills and
experience.

the focal point of all locally developed planning and service delivery.

- Excellent administration and organisational skills
- Substantial experience of using Microsoft Office applications
- Previous experience of maintaining IT Hardware and Software systems.
Desirable
- Previous experience in the NHS or a hospital environment
- Previous experience of maintaining IT Hardware and Software systems.
Qualifications

- Good standard of education
- Experience within IT or good understanding of computer environments
Desirable
- Higher National Certificate or Diploma in IT, or equivalent experience.

- Good understanding of software and hardware systems to include troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of EMIS or SystmOne clinical record system, with the ability to learn and understand new systems
