Job summary

Due to business growth and our expanding client base, we are looking to recruit an Occupational Therapist (Band 5/6) to work as part of our team which covers the North West of England.

We are a private company that has been established since November 2015 and our director and owner Caroline Hill has over 25 years experience as an occupational therapist ( specialising in paediatrics).

Manchester Occupational Therapy Services work with children offering assessments, recommendations and treatment for a wide range of needs.

Our therapists work alongside schools, families, case managers and local authorities .

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for holding your own case load, providing occupational therapy assessments and treatment for clients who have a range of conditions which may include cerebral palsy, downs syndrome, head injuries, spinal injuries, muscular dystrophy, developmental delay, DCD, autism, sensory processing difficulties, ADHD, fine motor and perceptual difficulties.

The post may also include providing specialist equipment and adaptation assessments and recommendations as required.

A dedicated clinic and office space is available in Manchester for appointments and administration for all staff and will be your base.

The successful candidate must be HCPC Registered and, ideally, with a minimum of 1 years experience working with children who have sensory needs.

 A desirable would be to have Sensory Integration Level 1(minimum)
