Job summary

Due to business growth and our expanding client base, we are looking to recruit an experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant to work as part of our team which covers the North West of England.

We are a private company that has been established since November 2015 and our Director and Owner Caroline Hill has over 25 years experience as an Occupational Therapist ( specialising in paediatrics).

Manchester Occupational Therapy Services work with children offering assessments, recommendations and treatment for a wide range of needs.

Our therapy assistants work alongside schools, families, case managers and local authorities under direction of the Occupational Therapists

We have two office locations in South Manchester ( M41 9JQ and SK5 5HS - where our clinic is located).

We are currently a team of 13 and currently recruiting for several roles as the need for our services is increasing .

Part time and fulltime applicants will be considered (Minimum 3 days a week)

Main duties of the job

Due to the expansion of our services and increasing client base we are excited to be able to recruit an enthusiastic Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. Manchester Occupational Therapy Services provide private Occupational Therapy Services for children across the North West of England. We have an established team of experienced OT's, an OT assistant and clerical support.

The successful applicant will support the Occupational Therapists in carrying out individual and group Occupational Therapy sessions in a variety of setting including children's homes, schools and within our clinic.

You MUST enjoy working with children and enjoy a fast paced , rewarding role , no previous therapy  experience required but any  as  full training and ongoing support will be provided. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to navigate Office 360 and Dropbox. You will need to be able to adapt to different environments and and be able to use your initiative and decision making skills.

Access to a car for work purposes is essential.

Full-time hours: 37.5 per week ( Part Time 22.5 hours or 30 hours a week considered)

Also Term Time Only - 39 weeks a year

We have a full risk assessment in place relating to Covid-19 and have a Covid-19 safe office and clinic space

We have clinical space in Stockport (SK5) in a dedicated sensory clinic and admin areas in Urmston and Stockport.
