Job summary
TalkPlus is a high achieving NHS Talking Therapies service and a well-established Long-Term Conditions (LTC) service. As an NHS Talking Therapies service, we are fortunate to work alongside a team of counsellors, psychologists, and employment advisors.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified High Intensity CBT therapist to join the TalkPlus team. The vacancy is for a full-time role (37.5 hours per week); however, we will also consider candidates who wish to work part time.
We currently offer a mix of remote working and face-to-face clinics, with our main base being in Farnborough.
The successful applicant would provide one to one and group high intensity CBT within a stepped care model for ages 16 upwards for common mental health problems, including anxiety and depression. As a service we are committed to equal opportunities and provide interpreter appointments when required.
We provide regular clinical supervision and excellent CPD opportunities externally and within the service. We believe in prioritising the wellbeing of our therapists and provide time to focus on resilience and reflection within our roles.

Main duties of the job
Accept referrals via agreed protocols within the service and assess clients for suitability for psychological interventions.
Training
Contribute to the teaching and training of mental health professionals and other staff working in the service.
Professional
Ensure the maintenance of standards of practice according to the employer and any regulating, professional and accrediting bodies (e.g. BABCP)
Candidates need a qualification from High Intensity IAPT Course (Post Graduate Diploma),
Significant experience working as a psychological therapy practitioner
Relevant experience in Primary Care treating anxiety and depression

NHUC is a not-for-profit Community Benefit Society, working in partnership with the NHS. NHUC provides services through two divisions, Same Day Care (SDC) and TalkPlus.
SDC provides services through the Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) contract which covers the in Hours Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) and Out of Hours (OOH) provision for North Hampshire, North East Hampshire and Farnham (NEHF) and Surrey Heath places which are part of the Hampshire and the Isle of Wight ICB and Frimley ICB respectively. We also provide Urgent Treatment Centres at the front doors of both Basingstoke and Frimley Park Hospital whilst also holding some smaller contacts supporting Community Hospitals OOH and Flu response. Finally, SDC has a virtual care arm supporting patients at home.
TalkPlus provide NHS Talking Therapies, supporting people with common mental health problems in Northeast Hampshire and Farnham place. TalkPlus offers a range of treatments to people who are experiencing symptoms of stress, anxiety, low mood, depression, panic, phobias or OCD. TalkPlus has care pathways to provide timely treatment for perinatal and military veteran referrals.
