Are you an experienced and fully qualified emergency response driving instructor looking for a new challenge?
CIPHER Medical are looking to recruit a DERADI qualified Emergency Response Driving Instructor to work on a full-time basis of 40 hours per week. Working from our HQ in Stockton-on-Tees but also providing training at our other locations when necessary, this role will enable the right candidate to join an established small but highly experienced team.
The work our team undertakes is critical to the functioning of our service. We train new Paramedics and Emergency Care Assistants response driving skills which they will use everyday to reach our patients quickly and safely. We also deliver a wide range of specialist training such as 4x4 off road driving.
Main duties of the job
You will provide training on a range of vehicles for our emergency response, patient transport services and events teams and also assess new employees driving skills.

- Be fully a fully qualified and experienced DERADI Emergency Response Driving Instructor
- Be currently qualified as an emergency response driver (hold an approved Ambulance, Police or Fire service certificate) with recent operational driving experience
- Hold a full valid GB manual driving licence with a C1 category entitlement and have at least 3 years' experience
- Must not have more than 3 penalty points on your driving licence
- Fulfil DVSA Group 2 medical licencing standards
- Must have driven emergency response within last 18 months
- Be a fully registered Approved Driving Instructor (ADI)
