CIPHER Medical is a fast paced and dynamic provider of health care and clinical education.
Services include:
Operational 999 support to the NHS, Patient Transport Services and Event Medical support. Your role will be supporting our Patient Transport Service.
You will be an Ambulance Care Assistant (ACA), working on our Patient Transport Services (PTS) on our non-emergency ambulances.
You will be joining an experienced team with an excellent reputation for providing high-quality services, so you will be a consummate professional and demonstrate the values of CIPHER Medical in order to continue to assist us to achieve our goal of "Delivering Clinical Care and Education with Distinction"

Main duties of the job
Undertake the full range of ACA duties in line with CIPHER Medical's policies.
Safely transporting patients from home or hospital settings in PTS Ambulances and vehicles, working alone or as part of a double crew
Ensuring the health, safety and welfare of patients and colleagues
Aware of safeguarding issues and reporting procedures as per CIPHER Medical's policies
Completing vehicle daily inspections
Appropriate use of dispatch software

- Vehicles safe for operational duties including IPC policy is adhered to.
- Safe transport or patients in non-emergency driving conditions.
- To adopt the CIPHER Medical core values, fulfilling our vision and mission statements.
Core Responsibilities

- Safe moving and handling techniques
- Safe use of AED
- Basic airway management
- Ensures health, safety and welfare of patients and colleagues
