We are seeking a Salaried GP to join our team at Maple Surgery , number of sessions to be discussed.

Want a manageable workload? How about 13 patients a session, 15 minute appointments and no duty?

Not keen on ward rounds? Ok no care homes.

Hate visits? How about max 2 a week?

£12,000 a session, with full CPD allocation as per BMA model contract? Plus paid indemnity.

Want the BMA model contract and never have to ask the practice manager for the DDRB uplift it just happens?

Main Duties

13 patients per session, capped workload

Low visiting practice, rarely more than 2 per week (often none), no care homes

BMA model contract

Monthly clinical closure afternoon for training and team building

SystmOne practice with full Ardens templates

Protected time allocated for shared administrative and prescription tasks

We are Cambs GP Network - a Federation of Practices across Cambridge and surrounding villages, with a social enterprise ethos - whollyowned by our local member practices. Since taking over Maple Surgery in Bar Hill last year our patient feedback has improved which shows in our Friends and Family responses, we have rebuilt good relationships with the supportive Patient Participation group and we also significantly improved on our QOF achievements for the 2023/24 year.

Maple Surgery has 4,000 patients - cared for by a supportive, stable team and practice manager. The clinical team includes a Lead Nurse, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, and an HCA as well as a Social Prescriber, Pharmacy Team and a Community Matron as part of Cambridge North Villages PCN. We have an excellent clinical coder and ANP support with tasks and medications. The practice is located immediately off the westbound A14 just outside Cambridge.

This is a traditional practice supporting old-fashioned face-to-face high-quality consulting, that has the support of a bigger network in the form of CGPN so you can focus on patients, not firefighting and be sure of transparent and stable running of the practice.
