Main duties of the job
You will be managing your own allocated clinic supproting clients via telemedicine, using your own clinical skills in triage referral where required.This will require you to review referrals from optometrists, GPs, and other primary care routes, allocating them to the most appropriate service.

Role Purpose:
Primary Eyecare Services is looking for enthusiastic and clinically focused optometrists to join its central clinical team. The role will include providing telemedicine, referral triage and clinical support to the central hub team.
Responsibilities:
- As a telemedicine optometrist your primary duty will be to communicate with and treat patients via telemedicine. You will use your expertise to manage patients presenting to CUES with a variety of conditions.
- You will be responsible for managing your own allocated clinic, using excellent time management skills to run your clinic efficiently.
- You will be required to communicate effectively with patients, other clinicians,and team members, always upholding professional standards.
- You may be required to use your clinical skills in referral triage. This will require you to review referrals from optometrists, GPs, and other primary care routes, allocating them to the most appropriate service.
- As a qualified optometrist you will provide clinical support to the hub administrative team where required.
- Working alongside the operations and clinical leads to identify areas for improvements in service delivery.
