Main duties of the job

Work primarily in the Management team supporting our operational areas, assisting in responding to marketing enquiries and supporting in marketing and advertising promotional activities via all communication channels.

Workrwith the relevant PCN Administrator and Business Manager as needed to schedule social media posts, gather content and format external stakeholder newslette

Maintain a database of media enquiries and journalist contact information relevant to the scope of the company

Update relevant content for the PCN practice teams on their local website

Create and edit videos and photographs of events to be used across all internal and external communications channels to promote the positive work of GPA and build our reputation as the delivery partner of choice for Primary Care in the borough.

Produce weekly media scanning reports for the Management Team and other media monitoring reports as required

Work with the Business Manager as required to help update the website.

Work with the relevant PCN Administrator and Business Manager where needed to develop content including graphics, video, audio, campaigns and initiatives.

About us

Greenwich PCN Alliance is formed of 4 Primary Care Networks (PCN) across Greenwich. Blackheath & Charlton PCN, Eltham PCN, Heritage PCN and Unity PCN. We are looking for a Healthcare Marketing Intern to join the management team of GPA. At GPA, we are committed to the development of ARRS roles and have established teams in each PCN, each of these supported by the management team within Greenwich PCN Alliance.

Key Tasks

1.Providing marketing support for GPA and the PCNs

-Working with the Management team, SEL ICB, and other external organisations to source content for our corporate staff newsletter and our other internal communications channels.

-Working with the relevant PCN Administrator as needed to schedule social media posts, gather content and format of internal and external stakeholder newsletters and provide support for behaviour change campaigns.

- Working with the Management Team to develop the promotion and advertising of staff surveys, and PCN-specific and company event

- Provide support for exhibitions and conference including organising attendance, managing suppliers and ensuring the relevant marketing collateral is in place

- Maintaining relevant contact information for the Management team on a database for future marketing us

- Helping to maintain a database of media enquiries and journalist contact information.

- Working with the relevant PCN Administrator and PCN Digital and Transformation Leads to update relevant content for PCNs and GPA on practice websites

- Creating and editing videos and photographs of events to be used across all internal and external communications channels to promote the positive work of GPA and build our reputation as the delivery partner of choice for Primary Care within the borough

-Producing a bi-weekly media scanning report for the Business Manager and Board members and other media monitoring reports as required

- Working with the relevant PCN Administrator as required to help update the website.

- Working with the relevant PCN Administrator to develop content including graphics, video, audio, podcasts for internal and external projects, campaigns and initiatives.

- Work with the Business Manager for advice and support

- Undertake continual personal and professional development, taking on an active part in reviewing and developing the role and responsibilities and provide evidence of learning activity as required.

3. Miscellaneous

- Establish strong working relationships with PCNs and work collaboratively with other clinicians and non-clinicians, supporting each other and respecting each other's views.

- Act as a champion for communication for GPA and on behalf of PCN's.

- Demonstrate a flexible attitude and be prepared to carry out other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time within the general character of the post or level of responsibility of the role, ensuring that work is delivered in a timely and effective manner.

- Identify opportunities and gaps in the marketing arm of the company and provide feedback to continually improve and contribute to business planning.

  • Experience of working directly in a marketing intern/ marketing assistant, or any other related role (in a paid or voluntary capacity).
