Recently awarded Urgent Treatment Centre status, we are recruiting additional Senior Clinical Practitioners to join our friendly team in Oldham.

Salary: £42238 to £48238 a year additional enhancements for evening and weekend working

Full time, part time and bank positions available

Working patterns flexibility between 8am - 11pm Monday to Sunday

Location: Integrated Care Centre (ICC), New Radcliffe Street, Oldham, Greater Manchester, OL1 1NL

Main duties of the job

As a SCP working within the Oldham locality you will holistically assess and clinically examine patients within your scope of competence. You agree an effective management plan including prescribing where appropriate . In addition, you will have exposure to a multitude of streaming pathways and a broad Directory of Services (DoS) along with:

  • Direct access to a wide range of community-based services.
  • Direct referral rights to secondary care.
  • Access to technology to support telephone and video consultations (full induction and training provided).
  • Facilities to see patients face to face (with support if you are expanding your scope of practice).

Patients are referred into the Oldham Urgent Care service from several different routes. These include 111, NWAS, Oldham Care Homes, Health Care Professionals such as District Nurses. The service also manages a virtual ward and a covid oxymetry at home service.
