Job summary

The post-holder will work within the Training team for FCMS. The Service Lead will act as part of the underpinning support team for all colleagues and management across all sites. This role will support staff journeys managing mandatory training, internal and external training to increase skills, knowledge, and experience.This role will share responsibility for delivering in-house training and mandatory training days across all services, and sites, and to seek out training opportunities and training needs, will help talent to flourish, as well as developing initiatives to add value or improve the smooth running of Organisation.

Main duties of the job

  • They will monitor the completion of mandatory training for both clinical and non-clinical staff members. Providing feedback to Clinical managers, fellow Service Leads and Heads of department regarding mandatory training and assist in identifying strategies to ensure we hit set targets.Other elements to the role will involve dealing with email requests, directing, advising, driving and overseeing mandatory training, producing and exporting reports, interpreting data, produce spreadsheets, contacting staff members regarding training, booking training events and sourcing training providers.The training team is small and has a heavy workload, so we need someone who is fast paced, efficient and proactive.

Job description

Job responsibilities

  • Facilitate delivery of in-house courses and Mandatory training days within the Organisation.
  • Coordinate/host training events- confirming attendance, sending reminders, liaising with Venue and facilitator- hosting on the day
  • Monitor the completion of mandatory training (within our host system Bluestream) for both clinical and non-clinical staff members.
  • Provide feedback to Clinical managers, fellow Service Leads and Heads of department regarding mandatory training and assist in identifying strategies to ensure we hit set targets.
  • To follow systems and procedures to ensure that mandatory training information is kept up to date
  • To ensure that mandatory training information is available to Heads of and Board members by producing reports on Bluestream.
  • To produce data pertaining to training and interpreting the results to ensure we achieve set targets and KPIs
  • Managing and actioning the Training Team inbox
  • Undertaking any administrative duties
  • Attending inductions
  • To ensure all information collected is held securely and in confidence
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • To attend relevant training where necessary
  • To respond quickly and accurately to requests for information in accordance with policies and procedures
  • To carry out other relevant duties such as booking training events, sourcing venues and training providers.
