Main duties of the job
• Attach ECG ambulatory monitoring and Blood Pressure monitors to patient
• 12 Lead ECG recording and uploading
• Removal and downloading of ambulatory ECG and Blood Pressure monitors
• Preparation of monitors for the next diagnostic clinic
• Discuss with patients issues relevant to their diagnostic investigations
• Liaise with Cardiac Physiologist and Ultrasound Sonographer highlighting any concerns re the patient
• Maintain accurate documentation with regard to the patient record
• Maintain stock levels
• Acting as a Chaperone during ultrasound scans
• Supporting patient and during internal scans
• Preparation of room for next patient
• Explain procedure to patient, manage expectations and answer all patient queries

Job responsibilities
LOCATION - Primarily Bolton and West Lancashire.
Occasional travel to Blackpool and Preston
Full training will be provided to ensure competency and will be assessed by the Cardiac Physiologist and Ultrasound Sonographer. The post-holder will accept the responsibility for doing a quality job, aspire to achieve, share a corporate pride in achievements and strive to act as an ambassador for good quality.
Give advice and support to patients and carers, within duties appropriate to grade and level of competence.
Communicate closely with other colleagues, reporting on patients condition as appropriate.
Carry out, after appropriate training, identified clerical tasks within Planned Care these will include:
Welcome patients attending the centre in a warm, friendly and courteous manner
Update clinical system when patients present
Maintain an accurate manual register of patients in the event of any break in computer service
Notify other departments of any patient arrivals where necessary
Ordering and putting away stationary and stores
Up-dating of notice boards and patient information leaflets stand
Inputting data on computer and updating records
Travel to other locations as and when required

promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and
expects all staff to share this commitment. You will be expected to
fulfil your mandatory safeguarding training at the level applicable to this
role.
This
post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exemption Order) 1975
and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to
the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any
previous criminal convictions. This will require three forms of valid ID to be
produced and verified. The onboarding process is also subject to an
Occupational Health check, suitable professional references and eligibility to
work in the UK (with the requirement to provide relevant documentation as
