Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity available for an enthusiastic and motivated leader to
join West Norfolk Health as a Primary Care Network (PCN) Manager.
We are looking for a solid
operational manager who is comfortable with entrepreneurialism, and who is familiar with NHS architecture and providers.
The role involves coordinating
internal resources and external stakeholders for the flawless design and execution
of the portfolio of clinical projects and services being undertaken by the PCN.
Main duties of the job
The ideal candidate will be a talented manager preferably with NHS experience, to take the lead in understanding national and local
requirements, facilitating engagement between PCN member practices, and
implementing agreed plans.
You should
be confident in engaging with a variety of stakeholders, a natural collaborator
with strong negotiation skills.
You should be an implementer who can
find and action solutions. Able to work
at pace, you should be comfortable in a start-up environment, managing risk,
uncertainty, and constant change.

Primary Care Networks are a
new way of working that enables health and other services to work together to
provide better access for patients. We are the employing organisation, with this role being a shared role across two West Norfolk PCNs, Costal area, and Swaffham & Downham area.

Supporting the
Clinical Directors to identify opportunities for the PCN, and translate them
into business cases, project plans and outcomes, exhibiting leadership & decision
making.
2.
Identify and
enable efficiencies across member practices through reflecting on experiences
and methodologies.
3.
Research and advise on the design of appropriate systems, processes and policies to fulfill contractual
obligations.
4. Coordinating the
project team and PCN practice leads to deliver every project on time within
budget and scope.
5.
Facilitate the development of the group dynamic and
culture, helping
GP practices work together in an open, democratic and transparent way.
6.
Working with other local health and care providers towards an
integrated, patient-centered system.
7.
Comply with all Policies and Legislation as a minimum
with special attention to CQC requirements, NHS England rules, GDPR, and
Health and Safety legislation.
8. Always put the patient at the centre of what you
do whilst recognising the importance of targets and financial probity.
