2022. Last year IHG performed 4% of all of the hernia procedures under LA in the country.
Main duties of the job
We pride
ourselves on the quality of care we offer our patients. All the work we undertake is for the NHS. We are currently expanding our highly
successful LA hernia service in Leicestershire and are looking for experienced
surgeons to support the growth and development of this service.
We are searching for a surgeon to work with
us at Syston Health Centre in Leicester undertaking clinics and hernia surgery
for two to four sessions per month, depending on your availability and patient
numbers
About us
Independent Health Group was set
up in 2004 with the aim of offering patients the choice of being treated out of
hospital, closer to home. We wanted to create a new health care organisation in
which like-minded health care professionals could deliver truly patient centred
care. Our aim is to be the leading provider of community-based diagnostic and
treatment services across England.
We are a small friendly team,
where you will be working in a different environment to that of an acute
hospital setting. We offer our staff an innovative, alternative way to
delivering health care, and have a very patient-centred approach. We
consistently receive favourable feedback from our patients, who value both the
short wait-times and being seen and treated by the same clinician at each
visit. Our staff are proud to work for us and proud of the care we deliver.

opportunity and would like an informal discussion about the post, please do not hesitate to contact Maryam Cawte, our Head of Clinical Services - maryam.cawte@nhs.net or Bruce
