Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity
to join a ground breaking, innovative healthcare team to develop and grow
services of the highest quality. At Independent Health Group (IHG) we
absolutely put patients first and take pride in ensuring we are delivering high
quality care with the patients experience being at the heart of this. Our staff
are proud to work for us and proud of the care we deliver. We were delighted to
achieve an overall rating of OUTSTANDING by the Care Quality Commission in
2022.
The Covid-19 pandemic has put
the NHS under unprecedented pressure and we have a role in supporting the NHS
to relieve that burden. We are looking for experienced surgeons to support the growth and
development of our Devon vasectomy service.
Main duties of the job
Based at Kingskerswell Health Centre in Torbay, we are looking for someone to undertake our vasectomy service for one Wednesday (2 sessions) per month, depending on your availability and patient numbers. This role will be offered on a Practicing Privileges basis, and there is the chance of increased hours in the new year when our one of our other surgeons reduces their hours.
About us
Independent Health Group was set up in 2004 with the aim of offering patients the choice of being treated out of hospital, closer to home. We wanted to create a new health care organisation in which like-minded health care professionals could deliver truly patient centred care. Our aim is to be the leading provider of community-based diagnostic and treatment services across England.
We are a small friendly team, where you will be working in a different environment to that of an acute hospital setting. We offer our staff an innovative, alternative way to delivering health care, and have a very patient-centred approach. We consistently receive favourable feedback from our patients, who value both the short wait-times and being seen and treated by the same clinician at each visit. Our staff are proud to work for us and proud of the care we deliver.
