About us
We were
set up in 2004 by Dr Matthew Wordsworth with the aim of offering patients the choice of being
treated out of hospital, closer to home.
Matt wanted to create a new health care organisation in which like-minded
health care professionals could work together to deliver truly patient-centred
care. We setout
to be a leading provider of
community-based diagnostic and treatment services of the highest quality, where
patients always come first.
We
provide day-case surgical services under local anaesthetic including hernia, hand,
podiatric, vasectomy and ophthalmology from sites in Wiltshire, Leicestershire,
Gloucestershire and Devon. All the work we undertake is for the NHS.
We are a
small friendly team and offer our staff an innovative, alternative way to delivering health care, with a very patient-centred approach. We
consistently receive favourable feedback from our patients, who value both the
short wait-times and being seen and treated by the same clinician at each
visit. Our staff are proud to work for
us and proud of the care we deliver.
If you would like an informal discussion about the role
please email Claire Damen, Chief Executive on claire.damen@nhs.net with your telephone number and when you
are available to speak.
