We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our dynamic and supportive HR team. This is a part-time role, working four days a week from Tuesday to Friday.
About the role
As an HR Advisor, you will work in closed collaboration with our operational and clinical teams to provide support and guidance on employee relations (ER) matters. Youll take responsibility for ER case management and day to day HR operations.
This is a pivotal role where you will actively contribute to building a business that people love to work whilst supporting delivery of our broader People strategy.
Main Responsibilities
- Take a lead role in managing complex ER cases, including grievance and disciplinary procedures, absence management, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Take a lead role in managing Occupational Health referrals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for team members and managers on ER issues, offering expert advice & guidance and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment law. Contribute to improving manager capability across all ER areas.
- Work collaboratively across sites to support ad-hoc initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture, including organizing team briefings, social events, and recognition programs.
- Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and satisfaction, including in the wider HealthHero group.
- Coordinate and deliver HR training sessions and workshops.
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in HR, with a strong emphasis on Employee Relations, preferably in the healthcare sector
- Solid understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and disciplinary/grievance procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
