Nurse Practitioner

Job summary

One Health Lewisham have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Paramedic Practitioner to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.The successful candidate will be available to work either a Saturday or Sunday, or both, as part of their working week.

You will be supporting the GP Home Visiting Service, NHS@Home (Virtual Ward) service and Clinical Streaming at University Hospital Lewisham Emergency Department. This list is not exhaustive and you may be asked to support other services within the organisation. You will need to have at least 5 years experience post HCPC registration to be considered. One Health Lewisham are also willing to sponsor your ACP qualification.

Main duties of the job

The Paramedic Practitioner will be responsible for triaging patients, performing investigative procedures when required and sign-posting patients to the appropriate community service. You will bring your clinical assessment skills, ability to diagnose and treat patients, as well as your enthusiasm to the role. A full list of duties can be found in the job description attached.

To succeed you will:

• Be passionate about providing access to care for patients;
• Aspire to improve long term care for house bound patients with chronic conditions;
• Have at least 5 years' experience post HCPC registration
• FCP qualified or willing to work towards

Hours or work:

37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be available to work either a Saturday or Sunday, or both, as part of their working week.

Pay:

£58,000 pa + £4000 weekend work allowance pa.
