Job summary
IntraHealth are recruiting Data Entry staff to join
our Immunisation & Vaccination Team in the handling of information
surrounding the immunisation and vaccinations across Greater Manchester.
Applicants will work within a team and support
the delivery of IntraHealths expanding immunisation and vaccination
programmes. Successful candidates will be responsible for accurate inputting of
all clinical immunisation data received onto our clinical system. They will
also need to communicate via telephone and email to parents/carers, schools,
GPs and any other clinical professionals, and provide assistance in other
general office duties.
Main duties of the job
- To provide
a high standard of service and provide general assistance to the
Immunisation Team
- Project a
positive and friendly image to service users, either in person or via the
telephone
- Receive,
assist and direct parents and carers in accessing the appropriate information
or guidance they require.
- Resolve
queries/problems from patients, parents, carers and associated staff
- Data entry
on clinical system
- To undertake duties as necessary, in line with the changing needs
of the company
- Acts in a way that acknowledge individuals rights to make their own
decision and recognise their responsibilities
- Facilitates others to identify their current level of knowledge and
skills, their learning needs and best practice
- To support others in the development and application of knowledge
and skills in practice
- Identify resource issues which affect learning, development and
performance and alert the appropriate managers
- General housekeeping of the
office and management of deliveries and supplies to support
contracts. Some manual handling may be required, in line with our
Moving and Handling policy. Mandatory training on Manual Handling is
required.
