Job summary
We
are looking for a highly motivated individual that wishes to extend their
dermatology experience within community services. The candidate must possess
full GMC registration, MRCP or equivalent. The candidate must have experience
in undertaking dermatological procedures without supervision. The role requires
Community based dermatological consultations and follow ups to be undertaken
for Adults and Children and performing surgical procedures. The candidates
should have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with patients, have
the ability to work within a team and independently, have good time keeping
skills to ensure the clinics run smoothly and on time.
Main duties of the job
Follow patients, plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based
care in line with NICE guidelines, British Association of Dermatologist
protocols and business Standard operating procedures.;
Provide specialist advice to patients, families and
carers and the wider multi-disciplinary team;
Carryout specialist dermatosurgical
procedures; including punch biopsies, shave excisions, full excisions and using
cautery as well as cryotherapy
Contribute to the service and referring GPs through
developing and delivering education and training;
Contribute to the development ofservices;
Work collaboratively and attend meetings with the
multidisciplinary team to ensure the cohesive management of patients.;
Seeing surgical and follow up patients
