We work in partnership with several NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups nationwide to provide patients with access to community services closer to their home.
These include Diagnostic Ultrasound, Gynaecology Services, diagnosis and treatment of Dermatological conditions, Ophthalmology services and the provision of extended Minor surgery procedures.
About the Job
Are you a skilled and dedicated Nurse within Gynaecology looking to join a dynamic healthcare team?
As a Specialist Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assessing and treating gynaecology patients and manage the clinical environment, in liaison with the management and consultant team.
The nurse will act as an autonomous practitioner in forming clinical decisions and complex management plans in the assessment and treatment of patients.
Main duties of the job
About the role
You will be able to provide high standards of care in various Nurse-led follow-up clinics including:
- Provide patient education regarding Gynecological conditions, treatments, and preventive care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by consultants.
- Perform assessments, screenings, and patient histories to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Offer emotional support and guidance to patients during sensitive and potentially stressful situations.
Applicants will be expected to have an excellent clinical quality record, and an ability to perform efficiently and independently in clinic whilst providing exceptional care.
You will need to demonstrate commitment to excellent teamwork with clinical colleagues and a willingness to utilise and develop clinical care pathways in the overall management of patients and assist in improving these pathways over time.
About you
- Possession of the relevant nursing licence and registration
- Minimum 1 year of nursing within gynaecology
