Job summary

The Clinical Administration Team Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of administrators who provide essential operational, recruitment, onboarding, and employment management support to our clinical workforce. This role is key in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative processes within the Clinical Leads' remit, working closely with the People Team and Rota Team to optimise workforce operations.

Whilst this is a day time role, our IUC clinical workforce is largely out of hours (evenings, overnights, and weekends) so there is an expectation the post holder will build some out of hours into their work pattern.

Main duties of the job

Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of administrators providing administrative support to Clinical Leads and employed clinicians in Severnside IUC.

Ensure team members are equipped with the necessary resources and training to perform their roles effectively.

Act as a point of contact for all employed clinicians for all operational and administrative queries that are not able to be resolved through administrators.

Oversee operational activities related to recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing staff management within the clinical workforce.

Develop and implement efficient processes and procedures to streamline administrative workflows.

Monitor and evaluate team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
