Job summary

Start date: 1st March 2024

Bristol Ambulance EMS are now welcoming applications for our AAP Apprenticeship, who have employed the services of MediPro to deliver this AAP programme following another year of successfully qualifying students.

Training will begin with 12 weeks of classroom learning, followed by 4 weeks of Emergency Driver Training (if applicable). This course will be running from our Bristol HQ and is open to those who will agree to our learning agreement and contract of employment.

This application is open to UCA's with a FREC4 minimum and qualified ECA's that are willing to accept a full - time contract with Bristol Ambulance. Applicants must have been working within a frontline Ambulance setting for a minimum of one year to be eligible.

The Average AAP apprenticeship program will last between 13 months to 18 months.

After the initial 12 weeks classroom training you will work on our frontline NHS contract alongside a Paramedic to gain skills and sign off.

(Our previous courses have been delivered with the view of progressing onto our Paramedic apprenticeship in partnership with MediPro. Due to recent HCPC regulations changing, we will not be able to guarantee this progression route. However, MediPro and Bristol Ambulance are working hard to maintain this academic pathway to Paramedic, and hope to have this in place on completion of this course).

**Advert may close early if high volume of applications recieved**
