Job summary

We have a newly-created role for a Healthcare Assistant in our community dermatology team. This is a great opportunity to play a key part in the day to day running of our clinics, supporting both patients and the nursing team.

Main duties of the job

You should have experience working within a primary care, community or hospital healthcare setting and good knowledge of using electronic patient recording systems backed up by an NVQ/QCF in Health & Social care. You should have experience working within a primary care, community or hospital healthcare setting and good knowledge of using electronic patient recording systems backed up by an NVQ/QCF in Health & Social care. Alongside this you should enjoy operating in an innovative. Positive and agile environment amongst like-minded colleagues and be driven by providing first-class patient care.

Our dermatology service is run from sites across the community, with multi-room clinics that support MDT working. Telephone and video consultations are also part of our core offering, giving flexibility to our team to work from home.

All staff are provided with first in class IT equipment, with access to secure and stable patient administration systems that are user friendly, enabling our clinical team to focus on their clinical role, knowing they have all the tools they need.
