Job summary

Title: Communications and Event Management

Project Officer (NCL Training Hub) focus on

Remuneration: £30,000 - £36,000 pa dependent on experience

Hours: Fulltime (37.5 hours per week)

Contract Length: Permanent.

Responsible to: Senior Project Officer and Communications and Engagement Lead

Accountable to: Chief Operating Officer

Job Base: 48 Station Road, London N22 (Availability for up to two days of remote working with occasional travel to sites across North Central London (Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey & Islington)

Main duties of the job

An opportunity has arisen for a Project Officer to join the NCL Training Hubs Programme Team. This is a permanent position. The successful candidate will join our project team, formed to support a large number of diverse projects and will carry out project officer duties, providing day-to-day project support for our workforce development & training programmes across Primary, Community & Social Care in North Central London.

The focus of this role is to support the Communications and Engagement Lead by organising and facilitating events and keeping the NCL Training Hub website updated, as well leading ensuring the Customer Relationship management (CRM) system is kept up to date. The post holder will work with other Project Officers collaboratively and will need to be a team player with a can-do attitude, demonstrating a supportive, team-based approach to work. They will also hold a key role in building and maintaining excellent working relationships with external stakeholders.

About us

The North Central London (NCL) Training Hub has been established to deliver training, enhance education and workforce development within primary and social care. We have a focus on enhancing the recruitment of new staff for the sector as well as retention of existing staff. We also work to support Primary Care with system change.

The NCL Training Hub has developed innovative educational and workforce initiatives for primary, community and social care. These innovative models have been shortlisted and won national awards, including from HSJ and Nursing Times.

Liaising with ICB and Training Hub leads to timetable and organise training events, using different event platforms, ensuring you have the correct information about the event and

Ensure the smooth running of events, including recording events and distributing resources to attendees

Distribute information about relevant news and events to various stakeholders including NCL GP website

Working closely with all programme teams to update information on the NCL Training Hub website

Produce regular reports to support event attendance

The job description and person specification may be reviewed on an ongoing basis in accordance with the changing needs of the programme of work and because we are a project-based organisation, candidates will need to be flexible with which projects they work on. Project allocations will be carried out in consultation with the Project Officer, led by the senior Project Officer and in consultation with project work leads who will be supported by the Project Officers.
