Main duties of the job
The finance department are going through a transitional period and a Management Accountant is required to meet the needs of the growing business.
The Management Accountant will assist the Financial Controller in all aspects of Finance, producing accurate and timely month end managements accounts & departmental P&Ls.

We also currently manage two local GP practices and lead the North Central London Training hub.

Job responsibilities
* Sales Ledger; ensuring
monthly/quarterly invoices are raised or accrued as necessary for the monthend.
*Support Purchase Ledger Clerk and to
accrue costs as necessary for the monthend.
* Assist in providing insightful
commentary and analysis on variances to budgets. Highlighting trends and
analysing causes of unexpected variances and making recommendations for
improvement, where appropriate.
* Engage with Service Managers & Directors to ensure their respective
P&L's are understood and correctly and accurately presented. This will
include ensuring that operating costs are allocated correctly across
departments and intercompanies.
* Assisting in balance sheet
reconciliation. Ensuring that all accounts are reconciled on a monthly
quarterly basis, differences are understood, and clear actions plans to resolve
are in place.
* Assist within the team to develop
and implement management accounts team operating procedures and policies.
* Support the internal and external
audit process, ensuring that all data requests are sent in a timely manner.
* Assistant with the production of
annual budgets and supporting analytical analysis.
* Look for opportunities for business
process re-engineering by challenging norms, being inquisitive and influential
in driving positive change to achieve automation and efficiencies.
* Such other duties as requested by
the Financial Controller, COO and CEO.
