An exciting opportunity
has arisen for a Senior Finance Officer to join our small and friendly team
at Taurus Healthcare.
The post holder will support
the Assistant Management Accountants by providing a high standard of service
in key financial and operational functions.

Main duties of the job
Prepare Monthly reports and undertake complex
interpretation at monthly Finance Team meetings.
Provide high standard of service in Key Financial
and operational functions to include, Accounts Payable, Accounts
Receivable, Cash management, Banking and Payroll Analysis/Review.
Responsible for ensuring ongoing general
financial administration services and cash management.
Financial expertise to support highly complex
robust/strategic planning e.g., oversee planning tool, budget analysis
spreadsheets
Advise and carry out costing, to support
strategic planning
Provide support to SMT re financial planning.
Looking ahead and understanding opportunities and risks
To work co-operatively in supporting all
directorates with financial information, advice and assistance and generally
support teams to ensure that the portfolio of tasks/projects is planned, managed
and delivered effectively
Produce timely schedules of payments to ensure
payments to Suppliers / Staff are accurate and monitored by SMT re cash flow.
Work as part of the Taurus Finance Team for
professional support

- NVQ Level 5/professional accountancy Qualifications Certificate Level/Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Member or equivalent experience to degree level plus supervisory experience.
Desirable
- Evidence of on-going professional development
- (Training towards a CCAB qualification).
- - Registered with a professional accountancy body as stated above.
Experience

- Financial Ledger System (SAGE an advantage)
- Computer literate with an ability to use the required systems/office packages
- Such as Word, excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience of having a planned and organised approach with an ability to prioritise their own workload in order to meet strict deadlines.
