We are looking for a motivated, adaptable and well-organised person to join our very busy GP surgery. We pride ourselves on delivering accessible, high quality healthcare and you will coordinate the supporting aspects of all clinical services delivered by our doctors, practitioners and nursing teams, ensuring adequate capacity and resources are available at all times. You will assist in the delivery of regular health campaigns.
Working in a busy surgery environment can be very pressured for which you will need excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills. You will need to be motivated and assertive, enjoy multi-tasking and be able to work to frequent, tight deadlines. Experience of managing complex rotas and resources for large teams is essential.
Your ideal background will be in team leadership or service lead roles that require confident, autonomous working, forward planning and a proactive attitude.

Main duties of the job
The following are the core responsibilities of the Clinical Team Coordinator. There may be, on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent on factors such as workload and staffing levels:
- Management and implementation of all clinical team rotas ensuring appropriate capacity and diversity of roles
- Planning and publishing of room diary
- Create and maintain the clinical appointment book in Emis
- Approval of clinical staff annual leave/TOIL in line with practice policies
- Engagement of locum staff when appropriate and in line with practice policy and within budget constraints
- Close liaison with HR regarding trainee and student placement planning and absence reporting
- Assist in the delivery of regular health campaigns such as flu and covid vaccination projects
- Administration of waiting lists for in-house medical procedures
- Assist with Infection Control administration and measures
- Administration support for the two Lead Nurses such as organising clinical education, team meetings, taking minutes etc along with policy and procedure administration
- Ordering and maintaining clinical consumables stock and ensuring rooms are stocked at all times
- Effectively managing the controlled stationery and clinical consumables stock flow between Ryeland Surgery and Bodenham Branch Surgery
- Responsible for the clinical equipment asset register and maintenance/servicing of clinical equipment
