Main duties of the job
Responsible and accountable for
operational management of clinical services, including service areas,
clinical and operational teams, service quality, performance, adherence to
budgets, workforce, personal and professional development, and supervision, through
strong, compassionate leadership and engagement.
Responsible for the delivery of
safe, effective care across clinicals services in line with national and
local key performance indicators.
Developing clinical models of
service delivery with general practice strategic and clinical leadership
teams and wider stakeholders to reflect population needs at Primary Care
Network, place and Integrated Care System level.

JOB PURPOSE
Provide clinical leadership across Taurus provided services and ensure the delivery of high-quality care in alignment with contract key performance indicators (KPIs,) agreed objectives, CQC regulations, quality standards and resources. Provide direct line management to staff across a range of professional and nonprofessional backgrounds. Work alongside the team to co-ordinate, lead and develop service delivery. Retain a clinical management focus, overseeing service clinical pathways and clinical cases.
Provide strategic clinical leadership function working collaboratively with stakeholders at primary care network (PCN), place base and Integrated Care System (ICS) level to develop and optimise urgent/non urgent clinical pathways.
Will be expected to work some weekends and evenings (when majority of Taurus provided services are operational) and participate in an on-call rota.

- Experience of managing a multi-disciplinary team.
- Able to demonstrate successful delivery and performance with and through teams.
- Up to date knowledge of relevant legislations, regulations, theory, and policies relating to the service.
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of accessing, analysing, and using information.
- Clear understanding and knowledge and management of risk
- Mentorship training or experience.
