The contribution of Physician Associates in General Practice is already recognised in Herefordshire & we are proud to be at the forefront of P.A development. Mentorship for this Primary Care Network role is provided by the Lead Physician Associate Ambassador, Midlands Region who is well established within the GP Federation. With an excellent support and supervision framework in place we are now delighted to offer P.A positions supporting Primary Care Networks (PCNs) across the County.

We are pleased to offer a part time P.A post (0.6 WTE) on a fixed term contract for 12 months based in WBC Primary Care Network.

Main duties of the job

This is an exciting time for P.As to play a key role in building patient centred care based on the needs of the local population and working with general practice teams who have longstanding relationships with their patients.

WBC includes 3 Hereford city - based practices; Wargrave House Surgery, Belmont Medical Centre and Cantilupe Surgery. As a small network we are very fortunate to be able to work closely together to understand the shared needs of our patient population and directly implement new ways of providing excellent patient care.
