Job summary
We are looking for an experienced senior dental nurse to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. This role involves the clinical and managerial lead of dental nurses, including recruitment, training and supervision and direct line management.
It is expected that clinical work will be integral to this management role.

Main duties of the job
Model organisational values and high professional standards; work to GDC guidance and local policies (Health & Safety, Data Protection, confidentiality).
Use safe, evidence based practice; take responsibility for your actions and support team based patient care.
Manage the Dental Nurse team, dealing with any performance or disciplinary matters and ensuring appropriate workplace cover for all shifts.
Contribute to induction, mentoring and on the job training; maintain CPD and a professional appearance; be punctual and courteous.
Assist with audits, incident learning, and service improvement to enhance quality and safety.
