Mental Health/ Wellbeing Nurse Part time (term time only)

We have a fantastic opportunity for a school-based Mental Health & Wellbeing Nurse to join our small onsite team based in our new and purpose-built Rohan Ingley Centre (The Schools Medical Centre).

We are seeking a highly professional, enthusiastic, and flexible person with outstanding interpersonal skills who shares our passion and commitment in prioritising mental health and wellbeing for pupils.

Main duties of the job

Main purpose of the role

Ensure the wellbeing of pupils, making sure their mental, physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Assessing a variety of acute and complex mental health issues

Providing mental health support and intervention, when necessary, referring to more specialist services

Producing Individual Health Care Plans (where mental health in concerned), as required, in liaison with parents and external specialist professionals for pupils with mental health conditions.
