The School of Health Professions is looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated dietetics Academic Lead to join the Dietetics team as an Associate Professor or Lecturer in Dietetics

Main duties of the job

You will:

Support teaching and learning in the programmes BSc (Hons) Dietetics, MDiet (Hons) Dietetics and MSc Human Nutrition at the University of Plymouth.

Promote academic quality and high standards of learning and teaching to support evidence-based dietetic practice.

Also have a role in building and sustaining successful partnerships with colleagues across the South West to develop and support practice placement education and future developments.

Depending on the grade appointed you will:

Have leadership responsibility including line management. Be a graduate Dietitian with considerable post-qualifying experience.

  • Recognised HE teaching qualification or appropriate HEA fellowship/the ability to gain this within 2 years from the date of appointment.
  • Graduate or post graduate qualification directly associated with the built environment.
