Job summary

University of Bristol Students Health Service is a GP practice for University students and their dependents. We are looking to recruit a healthcare assistant to work 3 days (21 hours) per week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday).

We are a close and friendly primary care practice team that includes GPs, nurses, pharmacists, psychologists and other allied professionals at an award winning university health service. Situated within a purpose built practice in a beautiful setting.

We would encourage a visit to the practice to meet the team prior to application.

Main duties of the job

As an HCA you will support the work of the clinical staff and have responsibility for a range of clinical and administrative duties, e.g. phlebotomy (taking blood), taking observations, urinalysis, acting as a chaperone for coil clinics, ordering medical supplies, and stocking up clinical rooms.
