Job summary
This is an exciting time to join Bristol Dental School
following its recent move to a brand-new state of the art clinical facility
located nearby Temple Meads station. The post holder/s will play a crucial role
within the School, specifically contributing to clinical supervision in Restorative
Dentistry, along with teaching, assessment and other management duties in
accordance with FTE and expectations of the role as set out in the job
description.
Main duties of the job
The post holder
will facilitate undergraduate (and postgraduate) education. The successful
candidate will be expected to participate in undergraduate (and postgraduate)
teaching activities including the supervision of undergraduates carrying out
patient care, writing teaching material e.g, lectures/ tutorials and
contributing to vital School activities including e.g., admissions interviews/
student examinations.
The successful
candidate will be expected to comply with all relevant clinical policies
relating to administration of patient care.
This includes working to set timescales for the triage of referrals,
following the specified process for the management of patients that do not
attend their appointment, and the completion of all paperwork deemed necessary
to support the management of their patients within agreed timescales.

holder would be expected to provide teaching and supervision to undergraduate
dental students and student hygienists/therapists, with potential for

- Broad range of IT skills
