Job summary:

Imperial College School of Medicine is seeking to appoint a Clinical Teaching Fellow (Digital) to work with the Leadership Team to support the delivery of our digital learning strategy. Duties and responsibilities You will be working closely with academics and students to ensure successful delivery of the digital learning course, using your expertise and evidence based approach to enhance the student experience. This post will provide a unique opportunity to develop a postgraduate portfolio during unique times of change, which will demonstrate your commitment to education in medicine.

Essential requirements:

  • Registered with the GMC with a licence to practise
  • Clinical experience to post-foundation year
  • An informed, critical understanding of the core undergraduate syllabus in Medicine
  • Demonstrable evidence of an interest in and knowledge of medical education theory
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office: in particular PowerPoint for creating presentations and Excel for analysing data.
  • Willingness to learn new digital learning tools and technologies and ability to cascade this knowledge to others
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with an ability to negotiate with staff at all levels
  • Ability to work under pressure and to demonstrate good time management and organisational skills, working with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to undertake any training necessary for this role, including training in digital systems and applications for supporting teaching, learning and assessment
