Job summary
The East of England Primary Care School (part of the Workforce, Training and Education Directorate of NHS England) are looking for enthusiastic and innovative educators to join the team as Training Programme Directors.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join NHSE and make an impact working with Resident Doctors in GP training. The successful post holders will work with colleagues to deliver education and training to Resident Doctors in the Ipswich GP Training Programme.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will provide professional educational support to all postgraduate clinical learners in primary and community care within the local programme. The team of programme directors will also share overall responsibility for the provision of educational support to the service.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.

- Primary clinical healthcare qualification
- Membership/Fellowship of a College, Faculty, professional association and/or regulatory body
- Attendance at courses aimed to support educational development at appropriate level in the Trainer, etc.)
Desirable
- Working towards higher professional qualification such as Diploma or Masters in Medical Education
Skills and Abilities

- A strong sense of vision and ability to innovate
- Ability to problem solve and maintain objectivity
- Strong interpersonal, communication, written and presentation skills
