There is a vacancy for an Obstetrics and Gynaecology Teaching Lead for ST 1/2 Residence in our organisation. This role offers a 3 year secondment with the possibility of extending this for a further 2 years. This role will be 0.5 EMC which equates to 2 hours per week and £5000 per annum.
Main duties of the job
This post is created to enhance the training and development of ST 1/2 residents within the School of Obstetrics and Gynaecology across Thames Valley. The Teaching lead for ST 1/2 will work closely with the ST 1/2 Training Programme Director and support the Head of School, maintaining professional and managerial accountability to them.
The role is designed to ensure that ST 1/2 residents have access to necessary training opportunities that meet their basic curriculum requirements. This includes curriculum mapping and ensuring appropriate use of the ePortfolio. Collaboration with College Tutors and Educational Supervisors will be essential in this process.
